Patrick Swayze is diagnosed with cancer

Patrick Swayze, 55, is being treated for pancreatic cancer but doing well enough to continue working, his representative said Wednesday.His physician, Dr. George Fisher, says Swayze has a limited amount of the disease and appears to be responding well to treatment.

“Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects,” the statement said.

He’s not on death’s door so don’t you worry guys.

Swayze became famous after his roles in 1987 Dirty Dancing and 1990 Academy Award-winning movie Ghost. He has two upcoming films that are scheduled for release this year - Powder Blue and a television movie entitled The Beast.
