Jay-Z And Beyoncé Knowles married

After about six years of a relationship, RnB superstars 38-year-old Shawn Jay Z Carter and 26-year-old Beyonce Knowles has tied the knot last Friday April 4. The couple married in a private ceremony at a chapel in Scarsdale Village in Westchester, New York, with around 30 friends and family attended the said event.

The all-white ceremony was attended by Knowles’ mother Tina and father Mathew, and her younger sister Solange.  Also present were Jay’s mom, Gloria Carter, former Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and pals Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

The wedding party then moved on to the rap mogul’s luxury New York penthouse apartment in the TriBeCa area of the city, where a marquee had been erected on a terrace at the building. The wedding reception was reportedly attended by more than 200 guests, including producer Jermaine Dupri and his girlfriend Janet Jackson, RnB singer Usher, rappers Wyclef Jean and Kanye West, producer Pharrell Williams, and Knowles’ Dreamgirls co-stars Jennifer Hudson and Jamie Foxx.

And the low-key wedding celebration was exactly what the couple had in mind.

But the newlywed has not set their honeymoon yet since Jay-Z is scheduled to perform in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday night April 5 with Mary J. Blige for the Heart of the City Tour.
