After having a simple but elegant debut last October 13, Inah Revilla, the first daughter of Sen. Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado is set to marry 24-year-old childhood sweetheart Vince Del Rosario on May 28 at the Manila Cathedral. Inah, who already appeared in two films, both with her father, Bong Revilla, in “Yes Darling, Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis” and “Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso…Not Once But Twice.” is a freshman student of Ateneo de Manila University taking up Legal Management.

After 13 years of being away from the limelight, Gabby Concepcion is back; his comeback caused a quite commotion at the studio of The Buzz, women and men giggled and digicam-and-cellphone cam-flashing, his boyish charms haven’t lost its magic to the people.
Contrary to the earlier news the Gabby will be a Kapuso, he signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN. His initial projects include starring in a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, a full-length feature under Star Cinema with Claudine Barretto as leading lady and a teleserye. Unconfirmed reports state he will play Armando in the ABS-CBN remake of Betty La Fea with Bea Alonzo as Betty. He will also appear in Boy and Kris and in Sharon to celebrate KC’s birthday. This will be the first time he will appear in public with his ex-wife and their only daughter.

Labeled as the Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas - Sandara Park who is now back in her hometown in Korea will make her debut by appearing in a music video. Sandara returned to South Korea last year with her family after three years of working here in the Philippines. After her hype and popularity dropped for so many controversies including the break up of their loveteam with Hero Angeles, envy towards the Pinoy Big Brother housemates and the abandonment of her father which she revealed as wife-beater and has taken all her savings leaving them in a hard position once again.
Park, has been getting acting lessons at YG Entertainment, a major talent management company in Seoul. As part of the deal, she underwent trainings on singing, dancing and acting to prepare for South Korea’s highly competitive entertainment industry.
She will star in the music video of Gummy’s brand new song I’m Sorry, the title track of her fourth studio album entitled Comfort. The music video of the Korean song I’m Sorry performed by Korea’s popular R&B singer Gummy debuted last March 12 and it features Choi Seung Hyun (Tempo or T.O.P. of Big Bang). This is her first major project in her home country. Sandara’s shots show her calling from a phone booth, kissing Top and crocheting which intercut with shots showing.Aside from that, she is set to appear in a TV drama in Korea which will start airing this May.

The Papaya Dance which was popularized by the “Pilipinas, Game KNB?”, game show hosted by Edu Manzano, was introduced to the American viewers in Good Morning America. They tagged Papaya Dance as the newest international dance craze after The Chicken Dance and Macarena. The Good Morning America hosts Diance Sawyer, Robin Roberts, Chris Cuomo and Sam Champion tried the simple steps in their March 21 episode.<br>
The acknowledgment is a bit late since it was a hit here last year. Edu Manzano was able to convince US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney to dance the Papaya with him on ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda.” The dance hit “Papaya” was first introduced in the country in the ‘70s which Edu revived by releasing a dance album last April 2007 and became a fad by August that a dance album titled “Edu Manzano: World’s Greatest Dance Steps” with “Papaya” as its carrier single was released.
I got the shock of my life when Janina San Miguel merged as the Bb. Pilipinas World 2008 after the Question and Answer portion, the thought of she’s deserving to the title and to represent our country in the Miss World 2008 in Ukraine this October passed my mind and Im sure myriad of Filipino audience who witnessed the said event in the television or in Araneta Coliseum. But let’s not judge her just because of that, I hope and pray that she will improve in the coming months, Im sure she will undergo a rigid training for the upcoming pageant.
